2.4GHz-band module complies with ISA100 Wireless standard

Murata Manufacturing announces that its 2.4 GHz-band wireless communication module, LBBA0ZZ1EU, has been certified to be ISA100 Wireless compliant.
ISA100 Wireless, or ISA 100.11a, is an industrial wireless networking technology standard established by the International Society of Automation (ISA) Standards Committee. Its features include high reliability, diverse applications, and network extendibility and high compatibility with wired communication standards.
Murata has teamed up with Yokogawa Electric Corporation, the first company in the world to develop and market field wireless system devices and field wireless devices compliant with the ISA100 Wireless standard, to develop communication modules that are installed in field wireless devices, such as the LBBA0ZZ1EU.
The LBBA0ZZ1EU communication module makes it easier to introduce field wireless systems into manufacturing plants, while the optimisation of its circuit design enables the module to feature a compact size and to save power.
